Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea

TRIESTE - The European Investment Bank (the lending arm of the European Union) makes available to the Trieste Port Authority 39 million euros to finance the railway infrastructure in service at the Port of Trieste.

TRIESTE - Hungarian public company Adria Port has purchased a 32-hectare area with a 300-meter coastline in the port of Trieste. The news follows up on the Hungarian government's commitment on 5 July last year, whereby a contract with Teseco and Seastock was signed for the construction of a new multi-purpose terminal in the area of the former Aquila refinery.

TRIESTE - The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Paola De Micheli, has appointed Mario Sommariva (Secretary general of the Authority), special Commissioner of the Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea.

TRIESTE - The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region has approved a document proposed by the Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, the Technical-functional adaptation of the Port of Trieste, introducing some changes to the Port Regulatory plan.
