TRIESTE – De Wave Group continues its expansion strategy in the shipbuilding supply chain with the announcement of four Italian acquisitions: IVM, Electrical Marine, O.M. Project and Cantieri Navali San Carlo.The transaction marks the creation of the Italian hub of the shipbuilding supply chain, bringing together skills and know-how to cover the entire process of designing and producing interiors and technical systems for the cruise and yachting sectors.
IVM, founded in 1996 in Padua, is one of the main operators in the outfitting and furnishing for cruise ships, with innovative design and technology solutions. Electrical Marine, based in Turin with operational sites in Savona and Varazze, specialises in electrical and electronic systems for the nautical sector. O.M. Project operates in metal carpentry and electro-actuated handling systems, while Cantieri Navali San Carlo builds pleasure and sports boats, also based in Turin.

With these acquisitions, De Wave surpasses 450 million euros in consolidated turnover, employing 1,400 people across 12 operational locations and seven production sites in nine countries. The group has also presented a 50-million-euro investment plan to increase production capacity, purchase new machinery and evaluate further M&A operations.
The plan also includes around 150 new hires to support production growth and strengthen after-sales services, particularly in foreign markets.

From 2021 to today, De Wave has integrated nine companies into its industrial perimeter, including Mobil Line, S.E.R., Tecnavi, Wingeco and Inoxking, strengthening the Italian value chain in shipbuilding and in the production of components for navigation.
