It is the first ship of this size (with just over 86,000 gross tonnage) to dock in Venice after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/cruises\/cruises-big-ships-out-of-venice-from-1-august-in-marghera\/\">government decree<\/a> prohibiting &#8220;big ships&#8221; passing through San Marco Basin and the Giudecca Canal. <br \/>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/cruises\/venice-fusina-terminal-big-ships-return-to-the-lagoon\/\">Hapag Lloyd&#8217;s Europa 2<\/a> had moored at the Ro-Port Mos terminal in Fusina. However, it was a 42,000-tonne unit with a length of 225 metres.<br \/>Coming from Dubrovnik (Ragusa) in Croatia, the Eurodam sailed yesterday evening to return to the Dalmatian coast. Entry and exit from Porto Marghera took place through the Malamocco inlet, escorted by two tugboats.<br \/>The choice of the <strong>Vecon termina<\/strong>l is a compulsory one for ships of this size, which should not be seen in Venice anymore this season.
