KOPER –<\/strong> A new terminal for trucks will be built in the Sermin area, adjacent to the port, in the municipality of Ankaran. <\/strong>The spaces available to the vehicles will be made with excavated materials from the construction site of the new railway line.
\nThe transport of the flysch, coming from the Dekani and Osp yards to the area of \u200b\u200bthe future terminal, will begin by October.
\nThe material, which will be used to create a precharge embankment in the external area and will also be applied to consolidate the ground where the cars will be stored in the future, comes from the construction sites of the second track of the Diva\u010da-Koper railway line<\/a>, where excavations for the first two tunnels of the \u010crni Kal-Koper section (the T8 tunnel in Dekani and the T7 tunnel over the Osp valley in \u010crni, in the Kal area) began in late September.
\nThe embankments, which must “rest” for several months, are essential to ensure the stability of the ground and serve as a platform for all subsequent applications of building materials and construction of buildings.
\nThe contractor, 2TDK<\/a>, had launched a public tender to find potential buyers for the excavated material, mainly flysch, considered a secondary raw material.
\nThe port of Koper has acquired 180,000 cubic meters, or about 7.5% of the land removed by tunnelling, thus securing essential construction materials for future investments, again in the reclaimed area of \u200b\u200bAnkaran.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
