According to the company\u2019s forecasting models, there are fourteen days marked as critical, five of which are <strong>especially problematic due to expected congestion in both directions: July 13 and 26, and August 6, 16, and 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the key measures adopted are the removal of construction zones \u2013 with 1,512 interventions completed in the first half of the year, most of them without affecting traffic \u2013 and <strong>increased staffing, from road patrols to emergency maintenance teams<\/strong>, stationed every 50 kilometers along the route. The company has also implemented detailed traffic forecasting systems accessible online, via Telegram, and through posters at rest areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are days when average traffic volumes double,\u201d noted <strong>CEO Diego Cattoni<\/strong>, \u201cbut our organization is ready to ensure safety and maximum road capacity. Accurate traffic flow forecasting is an essential tool for travelers.\u201d It\u2019s a long and complex effort, added President Hartmann Reichhalter, involving law enforcement, fire brigades, and emergency services.<\/p>\n<p>Technical Director Carlo Costa highlighted that the A22 can <strong>handle around 200,000 vehicles per day with just two lanes<\/strong>, while maintaining an accident rate well below the national average.
