{"id":36022,"date":"2025-11-24T18:36:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T17:36:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/uncategorized\/four-more-electric-cranes-for-the-port-of-koper\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T12:39:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T11:39:51","slug":"four-more-electric-cranes-for-the-port-of-koper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/shipping-en\/four-more-electric-cranes-for-the-port-of-koper\/","title":{"rendered":"Four more electric cranes for the Port of Koper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TRIESTE &#8211;<\/strong> The container terminal of the Port of Koper is continuing to renew its operating equipment and has ordered <strong>four new electric cranes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.luka-kp.si\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luka Koper<\/a>, the company that manages the Slovenian port, has signed an agreement for another four Konecranes RTGs (Rubber-Tired Gantry cranes), confirming the upgrade path launched last year.<\/p>\n<p>The new contract <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/it\/logistica\/quattro-gru-elettriche-per-il-porto-di-capodistria\/\">follows the 2024 purchase<\/a> and provides for <strong>delivery in the second quarter of 2026<\/strong>. The electric RTGs will replace diesel units still in service and will be powered via cable-reel systems connected to the grid, with onboard batteries for movements between the stacks.
