TRIESTE –<\/strong> The regional councillors in charge have accepted the request for a meeting from Fim, Fiom and Uilm (together with the factory\u2019s Rsu) regarding the issues reported at the Innoway plant in Bagnoli della Rosandra (Trieste).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last Thursday the trade unions called for a two-hour strike per shift, following an accident<\/strong> on the production line of the company created through the agreement between the MSC Group and Innofreight<\/a>, which took over personnel and facilities from Wartsila Italia to build rail freight wagons.<\/p>\n

The regional councillors for Labour, Alessia Rosolen, and for Productive Activities, Sergio Emidio Bini,<\/strong> will meet the union representatives in Trieste on the afternoon of Thursday 13 November<\/strong>.
\nAccording to the outcome of the meeting, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Government will promote the organisation of a working table involving the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the company, Confindustria Alto Adriatico, the Rsu and the trade unions themselves, for an update on the definition of the plant layout and on the timeline of the investments planned in the Industrial Plan attached to the Programme Agreement<\/strong>. \u00abAt the meeting held at ministerial level on 24 September, this activity was scheduled to be completed by 31 December this year, also in view of the submission of the application for development contract subsidies\u00bb, the Region said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Reiterating that the regional administration considers strategic and supports the reindustrialisation process underway by Innoway Trieste at the former Wartsila plant in Bagnoli della Rosandra, the councillors stressed that the utmost attention must be paid to work organisation issues, ensuring that work processes are carried out in ways that guarantee full protection for workers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 28 October, Innoway announced that it had reached the 100th wagon produced. The goal, the company explained, is to reach the first 200 wagons by the end of 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
