Project and Cantieri Navali San Carlo.<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">The transaction marks the creation of the Italian hub of the shipbuilding supply chain, bringing together skills and know-how to cover the entire process of designing and producing interiors and technical systems for the cruise and yachting sectors.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span class=\"cf0\">IVM, founded in 1996 in Padua, is one of the main operators in the <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">outfitting<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> and <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">furnishing<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"cf0\"><strong> for cruise ships<\/strong>, with innovative design and technology solutions. <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">Electrical<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> Marine, based in Turin with operational sites in Savona and Varazze, specialises in electrical and electronic systems for the nautical sector. O.M. Project operates in metal carpentry and <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">electro-actuated<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> handling systems, while Cantieri Navali San Carlo builds pleasure and sports boats, also based in Turin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"cf0\">With these acquisitions, De <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">Wave<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"cf0\"><strong> surpasses 450 million euros in consolidated turnover<\/strong>, employing <strong>1,400 people across 12 operational locations and seven production sites in nine countries.<\/strong> The group has also presented a <strong>50-million-euro investment plan<\/strong> to increase production capacity, purchase new machinery and evaluate further M&#038;A operations.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"cf0\">The plan also includes<strong> around 150 new hires<\/strong> to support production growth and strengthen after-sales services, particularly in foreign markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"cf0\">\u00abThe operations announced today <\/span><span class=\"cf1\">\u2013 said <strong>Ceo Riccardo Pompili<\/strong> \u2013 fall within our long-term strategy aimed at creating the Italian hub of the shipbuilding supply chain.
