The latter will enter service on the Tunis\u2013Marseille route, while<strong> the Gallipoli Seaways will replace<\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"cf0\"> the vessel sold on the Mersin<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"cf1\"><strong>\u2013Trieste line.<\/strong> The connection between Tunisia and France has recorded constant volume growth in recent years, and DFDS aims to consolidate its development with the new unit<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">, the Danish Group explains in a note.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"cf0\">The Cappadocia Seaways was welcomed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/it\/shipping\/trieste-alla-piattaforma-logistica-di-hhla-si-parla-turco-nuovo-servizio-dfds-e-treni-ekol\/\">at the HHLA Plt Italy terminal in February 2022<\/a> and was part, together with \u201cPaqize\u201d and \u201cOlympos Seaways\u201d, of the trio that regularly connected Mersin and the port of Friuli Venezia Giulia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"cf0\">\u00abWe are optimising operations to ensure that our fleet responds effectively to market needs<\/span><span class=\"cf1\"> \u2013 said<strong> Mathieu Girardin, Executive Vice President and Head of the DFDS Ferry Division<\/strong> \u2013. With a large and flexible fleet, we can maintain service frequency and quality, supporting traffic between Europe, Turkey and North Africa\u00bb.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"cf0\"><strong>In the Mediterranean, DFDS operates six routes with a fleet of 17 vessels linking Turkey, North Africa and Europe<\/strong>.
