The scenario involved the <strong>loss of several containers from a containership and the spill of lubricating oil<\/strong>, classified as a minor-to-moderate event. The Port Authority coordinated the response, deploying its own assets along with the Fire Brigade, Civil Protection, Castalia\u2019s SPICA anti-pollution unit and <strong>a barge from Koper to recover a sunken container<\/strong>. A small fire outbreak on board the Castalia unit was also simulated, then contained and extinguished. Arpa FVG, the port\u2019s chemical consultant and RINA technicians also took part in the exercise.
