The decision was formalised by the Board of Directors, which approved the roadmap for the terminal\u2019s new management phase.<\/p>\n<p>The Board, chaired by Silvano Pascolo, endorsed CEO Sergio Bolzonello\u2019s proposal to proceed with a one-year direct award, ensuring operational continuity throughout 2026 while simultaneously <strong>launching the process that will lead to the creation of a new public\u2013private joint venture (NewCo) to manage the terminal in the long term.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The strategy therefore consists of a transitional solution for next year, alongside the start of the preparatory work for a public tender to select one or more industrial partners to set up the future NewCo. The estimated technical timeframe for the procedure is between nine and fifteen months, in line with the industrial plan approved a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<strong>We thank Hupac for the fruitful cooperation over these years: the relationship has concluded in a correct and professional manner.<\/strong> A new season now begins\u2014interim but decisive\u2014allowing us to launch the NewCo tender under the best conditions, without being forced into rushed decisions,\u00bb Bolzonello said.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2026 management phase, <strong>Interporto has opened talks with Inrail, a company within the Autostrada del Brennero Group, well established locally (in Udine)<\/strong>, although its registered tax domicile is in Genoa. The aim is to sign the terminal management contract within the first weeks of January.<\/p>\n<p>The future mixed company will see Interporto Pordenone as a shareholder, alongside <strong>industrial partners selected through a public procedure<\/strong>. The goal is to retain public strategic control while building a solid, market-oriented industrial operator. For chairman Pascolo, this is a turning point. In parallel with the new management set-up, infrastructure works outlined in the industrial plan are nearing completion\u2014from the shunting yard to the yards and ancillary works\u2014so as to make Interporto Pordenone a next-generation logistics platform serving local businesses and regional and interregional flows.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TRIESTE &#8211; From 1
