{"id":36687,"date":"2025-12-24T21:13:02","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T20:13:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/uncategorized\/a-new-e21-million-contract-for-somec\/"},"modified":"2025-12-28T17:13:34","modified_gmt":"2025-12-28T16:13:34","slug":"a-new-e21-million-contract-for-somec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/shipyards\/a-new-e21-million-contract-for-somec\/","title":{"rendered":"A new \u20ac21 million contract for Somec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TRIESTE &#8211;<\/strong> The Mestieri division of the Veneto-based company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Somec<\/a> has secured new contracts with a total value <strong>exceeding \u20ac21 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The orders concern <strong>next-generation cruise ships, destined for a leading shipowner in the luxury segment.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe three contracts\u2014one of which is an option\u2014were awarded to the subsidiary TSI\u2013Total Solution Interiors by a major Italian shipyard and provide for the supply of complete, custom-made furnishings for two large speciality-restaurant areas on each ship.<\/p>\n<p>The works will involve <strong>very large areas\u2014around 2,100 square metres per ship\u2014and stand out for a high level of customisation,<\/strong> design complexity and execution quality, in line with the highest standards in the sector.<br \/>\nDelivery of the ships is expected between 2028 and 2032, while the economic impact of the contracts will be spread between 2026 and 2032.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThese orders come in a context in which the cruise industry continues to stand out for its dynamism and for demand oriented towards quality, customisation and attention to the onboard experience\u2014areas in which interiors are taking on an increasingly central role in shipowners\u2019 offerings.
