Accompanying the group was the <strong>president of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Port Authority, Marco Consalvo, together with representatives of the main terminals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the navigation, the port\u2019s overall operations and the functioning of the integrated system were illustrated. Particular attention was devoted to <strong>ongoing investments<\/strong> and to growth prospects linked to <strong>rail enhancement and increased port capacity<\/strong>. The delegates asked several questions about the port\u2019s operating model, showing interest in investment opportunities and in the integration between maritime traffic and the rail network.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abIt was a very productive day \u2013 commented <strong>Port Authority president Marco Consalvo<\/strong> \u2013 because it allowed the delegates to see directly in the field how the port works and its ability to integrate logistics, industry and energy.
