The most significant figure concerns the overall workload, which rose to <strong>\u20ac74.2 billion, the highest level ever, equal to around 8.1 times 2025 revenues. The backlog stands at \u20ac42.7 billion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visibility on <strong>deliveries now extends to 2036 and reaches 2039<\/strong> when considering the order signed in April with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/shipyards\/fincantieri-three-new-lng-ships-for-princess-cruises\/\">Princess Cruises for three new Voyager-class cruise ships<\/a>, which will be built in Monfalcone.<br \/>\nIn the first months of the year, Fincantieri has already finalised contracts worth more than the \u20ac11 billion annual target set out in its 2026-2030 business plan. In the first quarter alone, new orders acquired amounted to \u20ac3.4 billion, a figure that does not include some contracts already signed but still subject to the usual financing conditions.<br \/>\n<strong>Quarterly revenues amounted to \u20ac2.135 billion, down from \u20ac2.376 billion in the first quarter of 2025<\/strong>, which had benefited from the effect of the order for two PPA\/MPCS units for the Indonesian Navy. Excluding this element, revenues would have increased by 6%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Profitability improved. EBITDA rose to \u20ac159 million, compared with \u20ac154 million in the first quarter of 2025<\/strong>, while the EBITDA margin increased from 6.5% to 7.4%. The improvement involved all main operating segments.<br \/>\nIn the cruise business, revenues rose by 16.8% to \u20ac1.220 billion. <strong>The Underwater segment grew by 43.3% to \u20ac135 million<\/strong>, with an EBITDA margin of 17.1%. Offshore and Specialized Vessels also increased to \u20ac360 million, as did Systems, Components and Infrastructure, to \u20ac309 million.<br \/>\n<strong>The adjusted net financial position improved to \u20ac771 million of debt, compared with \u20ac1.311 billion at the end of 2025<\/strong>. The debt-to-EBITDA ratio therefore fell to 1.1 times, also thanks to the capital increase of around \u20ac500 million completed in February.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the results, <strong>Fincantieri has updated its 2026 guidance. Revenues are now expected between \u20ac9.3 billion and \u20ac9.4 billion, EBITDA between \u20ac700 million and \u20ac710 million, and net profit between \u20ac140 million and \u20ac180 million<\/strong>. The EBITDA margin is expected to be around 7.5%.<br \/>\n<strong>Chief Executive Officer Pierroberto Folgiero<\/strong> described the quarter as confirming \u00abthe strength of the Group\u2019s growth path\u00bb, underlining the record workload and delivery visibility through to 2039. According to Folgiero, the contracts concluded in the first months of the year confirm the Group\u2019s \u201cstrong commercial momentum\u201d.<br \/>\nDuring the quarter, Fincantieri delivered five ships from five shipyards and has 94 units in its portfolio. The most recent developments also include the first contract with the U.S. Navy for the Medium Landing Ship programme, the agreement in the United States for the autonomous \u201cSpectre\u201d units
