The event, conceived and organised by Risposte Turismo, will take place <strong>on 25 and 26 June and will see the participation of operators, institutions and companies from the seven countries bordering the Adriatic Sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organised this year in partnership with the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea, the forum will bring together around 200 participants at the Auditorium of the Procuratie of The Human Safety Net Foundation and the Silvio Trentin Aula Magna of Ca\u2019 Foscari University.<br \/>\nAt the centre of the debate will be <strong>the development prospects of the cruise, ferry, sailing and yachting sectors<\/strong>, with particular attention to the challenges of sustainability, innovation and the competitiveness of Adriatic destinations.<br \/>\nInitial data indicate that in 2025 the <strong>forty passenger ports of the Adriatic handled more than 25.5 million travellers overall across cruises, ferries and fast services.<\/strong> In the recreational boating sector, there is also growing evidence of a younger user base with greater spending capacity along the eastern shore of the Adriatic, a sign of an evolving and increasingly attractive market.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes eleven events, including round tables, interviews and in-depth sessions, with more than forty international speakers. Among the announced participants are Montenegro\u2019s Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordi\u0107, Enit president Alessandra Priante, <strong>MSC Cruises vice-president for Southern Europe Leonardo Massa, the president of the Port System Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Marco Consalvo<\/strong>, Trieste mayor Roberto Dipiazza and numerous representatives of institutions, shipping companies, ports and European bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The event will also provide an opportunity to present new <strong>previews of the Adriatic Sea Tourism Report, the annual report prepared by Risposte Turismo that monitors the performance of maritime tourism in the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00abSince 2013, Adriatic Sea Forum has established itself as the main international platform for discussion dedicated to maritime tourism in the Adriatic\u00bb, said <strong>Risposte Turismo president Francesco di Cesare<\/strong>. \u00abThe growing interest we record at every edition confirms the value of the path we have taken and the need to create opportunities for dialogue and cooperation between operators, institutions and territories\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention will also be paid to the role of Venice and Chioggia in the cruise sector. <strong>The president of the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea, Matteo Gasparato,<\/strong> recalled how the Venetian port system has been able to face the profound transformation that began in 2021, adapting to the new rules and sustainability requirements. In 2025, the ports of Venice and Chioggia handled a total of 617,000 cruise passengers.
