{"id":39868,"date":"2026-06-24T17:29:50","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T15:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/uncategorized\/autostrade-alto-adriatico-record-profit-and-e1-billion-for-the-a4\/"},"modified":"2026-06-28T21:30:30","modified_gmt":"2026-06-28T19:30:30","slug":"autostrade-alto-adriatico-record-profit-and-e1-billion-for-the-a4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adriaports.com\/en\/logistics\/autostrade-alto-adriatico-record-profit-and-e1-billion-for-the-a4\/","title":{"rendered":"Autostrade Alto Adriatico, record profit and \u20ac1 billion for the A4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TRIESTE &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autostradealtoadriatico.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Autostrade Alto Adriatico<\/a> <strong>closed 2025 with a profit of \u20ac38.5 million<\/strong>, shareholders\u2019 equity of more than \u20ac507 million and a \u20ac1 billion investment plan over the next five years, confirming the objective of keeping tolls unchanged at least until 2029.<br \/>\nThe shareholders\u2019 meeting also unanimously confirmed <strong>Marco Monaco as chairman<\/strong> and Tiziano Bembo as vice-chairman of the company.<br \/>\nThe confirmation of the company\u2019s top management comes a few days after the unanimous favourable opinion expressed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional government on the reappointment of Marco Antonio Monaco as chairman of the board of directors of Autostrade Alto Adriatico and Tiziano Bembo as vice-chairman.<\/p>\n<p>The economic results are supported by the growth in <strong>traffic along the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway, which in 2025 exceeded 54 million transits for the first time, two million more than the previous year and as many as 18 million more than in 2003.<\/strong> Revenue reached \u20ac236 million, while in the first five months of 2026 traffic has already recorded a further increase of 2.24%.<br \/>\nAmong the planned works, the most significant is the <strong>completion of the third lane between San Don\u00e0 di Piave and Portogruaro, with an investment of around \u20ac870 million<\/strong> and construction sites expected to start between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027. The programme also includes the expansion of the Redipuglia and Portogruaro toll plazas, the reconstruction of overpasses and bridges and the creation of new rest areas for heavy goods vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abAutostrade Alto Adriatico confirms itself as a concessionaire founded on a precise sense of economic and social responsibility\u00bb, stressed <strong>chairman Marco Monaco<\/strong>, highlighting that the decision to keep tolls unchanged represents concrete support for households, workers and businesses. Monaco also recalled the strategic role of the A4 for the entire European corridor and the historic record of more than 54 million transits reached in 2025.<br \/>\nFor <strong>regional finance councillor Barbara Zilli<\/strong>, \u00abAutostrade Alto Adriatico confirms itself as a strategic excellence for our Region\u00bb. Zilli highlighted the company\u2019s financial solidity and the importance of the \u20ac1 billion plan, which will make it possible to accelerate work on the third lane and modernise the infrastructure.
