TRIESTE – Fincantieri has signed a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, for the construction of a third ultra-luxury cruise ship. The value of the agreement, subject to financing and customary contractual conditions, has been classified by the company as “large,” meaning between €500 million and €1 billion.
The ship will be built at the Ancona shipyard and delivered in 2031. It is the third unit of a new class of ships developed by Fincantieri for the Four Seasons Yachts brand. The program follows the delivery of the first unit, Four Seasons I, which took place in early 2026, while the second ship is currently under construction and will enter service in early 2028.
The order confirms the growing demand in the ultra-high-end cruise segment and strengthens a partnership aimed at developing a new model of hospitality at sea based on highly personalized experiences.
The new ship will maintain the “all-suite” concept in a residential style already adopted for the first unit. It will have a length of 207 meters, a gross tonnage of approximately 34,000 tons, and will be designed to offer a strong connection with the sea through large private terraces and spacious outdoor areas for guests.
«This new order represents a further significant step in the development of the partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd – stated Fincantieri CEO and General Manager, Pierroberto Folgiero – which has become a benchmark for innovation in luxury hospitality at sea. The decision to expand the fleet with a third ship reflects the strength of a long-term industrial vision and confirms market appreciation for a concept that has successfully created a new segment combining luxury hospitality and advanced shipbuilding. Designed and built at our Ancona shipyard, the ship further strengthens the site’s role as Fincantieri’s center of excellence for the construction of ultra-luxury ships, where innovation, craftsmanship, and industrial expertise combine to offer the highest standards of quality and refinement».
