TRIESTE – The President of the Central-Northern Adriatic Sea Port System Authority, Francesco Benevolo, has signed the decree appointing the members of the Partnership Body for the Sea Resource.

This is the advisory body provided for under Law 84/94, made up of one representative for each of the following categories: shipowners, industrial companies, operators under Articles 16 and 18, freight forwarders, intermodal logistics operators, rail operators, maritime agents and brokers, road hauliers, employees of port companies, and tourism and trade operators active within the Port of Ravenna area.
Members were designated by their respective national trade associations, by trade-union organisations and by the Central Committee of the National Register of Road Hauliers.

The Partnership Body of the Ravenna Port Authority also includes the Authority’s President, Francesco Benevolo, who chairs it, and Maurizio Tattoli, Emilia-Romagna Maritime Director and Commander of the Harbour Master’s Office – Coast Guard of Ravenna, whose jurisdiction includes the Port of Ravenna.

The Body, which will meet for the first time on 4 February and will remain in office for four years, performs important dialogue and consultation functions for all stakeholders operating in the port sector and therefore represents an effective forum for sharing strategic decisions in the Authority’s management and in planning its future activities.
