TRIESTE – Fincantieri has launched at its Marghera shipyard the Seven Seas Prestige, the new ultra-luxury ship built for Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

It is the first of two next-generation units the group will build for the cruise line: delivery is scheduled for 2026, while the second ship will arrive in 2030. The collaboration between the two groups continues to grow. An order for an additional ship was also signed recently, with delivery set for 2033.

The Seven Seas Prestige has a gross tonnage of 76,550 tonnes and a length of 257 metres. It will accommodate 822 passengers in 411 suites, maintaining one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the industry. The project focuses on elegance and comfort, with advanced environmental solutions and new standards for onboard hospitality. New cabin categories are planned, along with high-end dining and services tailored to the most demanding passengers.

This launch is part of a long series of collaborations between Fincantieri and Regent. The group has already built the three ships in the Explorer class: Seven Seas Explorer (2016), Seven Seas Splendor (2020) and Seven Seas Grandeur (2023), built at the Sestri Ponente and Ancona shipyards.
