TRIESTE – Luka Koper has signed a commercial cooperation agreement with Samsara Group for official promotion in the Indian market in 2026.
The partnership is «an important step to strengthen our presence in one of the fastest-growing logistics markets and to open up new opportunities in freight flows between India and Central Europe», the company managing the port of Koper explains. As part of the cooperation, Samsara Group will support Luka Koper in its dialogue with Indian exporters, importers, shipping lines and logistics operators, with the aim of increasing trade flows between India and the main European destinations served by the Slovenian port.
From tomorrow, a Luka Koper delegation will also attend the IICS Exhibition – India International Cargo Show in Mumbai, where the features and advantages of the route to Central Europe via the port of Koper will be presented.
In recent days, precisely to activate this kind of connection—albeit within a more complex project—the “Trieste Indo-Mediterranean Business Forum” was held for the development of IMEC, the Indo-Mediterranean Corridor that should see the Friuli Venezia Giulia port among the hubs of greatest interest.
