TRIESTE – There will also be a new course on cyber-security among those starting from October at the Nautical Academy of the Adriatic.
In particular, as stated on the Institute’s website, the course aims to train an IT system engineer for the management of that branch of IT security that serves to protect data and digital systems from possible attacks. The profile responds to the recent needs of companies in different sectors, but particularly those in the maritime and port sectors, in some cases already regulated by IMO-STCW with specific parameters.
Meanwhile, in October, the courses for Railway Machinists (at the Gorizia site), Logistics Technicians (Trieste and Pordenone) and Naval Design and Production Technicians (Trieste) will start.
Founded in 2015 in Trieste, the Adriatic Nautical Academy deals with high professional training in the port maritime sector. With the introduction of courses in infomobility and logistics, naval production and design and train driver students, the Academy has begun to open up to the entire area of ​​sustainable mobility. The institute’s prides is the very high percentage (90%) of students who are immediately put to work.
