TRIESTE – Another investment announcement for the activities related to the Port of Trieste: the South Tyrolean logistics and transport company Gruber Logistics buys 100 trailers to be used mostly for traffic along the Motorway of the Sea with Turkey.
«New intermodal traffics will have Turkey as main contact point and connections with Italy, Austria, Germany and Benelux. The extension of traffics will provide in a second step the creation of connections with Eastern Europe, countries with which Gruber Logistics has been working for over ten years having offices and highly qualified staff in Lithuania, Romania and Poland. We will also provide services to and from Greece and Albania. Our team will also expand by 15 people by 2023». These are the words of Mauro Sepich, director of the Trieste branch, where the company is present since 1992.
Gruber Logistics has its head office in the province of Bolzano but 35 operating offices in ten different countries. The fleet of vehicles counts about 1500 units, while the turnover in 2020 was 158 million euros.
