TRIESTE – From Trieste’s industrial port to Ancona, a new maxi-yacht has reached the Marche boating hub for the final construction phase.
The steel hull, just over 43 metres long, was built at Seadock—Samer Group’s company specialising in heavy lifts and large structures—on behalf of CNB for an international owner. This is the third unit built in Trieste for this series. After being launched onto a barge, the hull was moved along the quay using a self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) and then loaded for the sea transfer to Ancona. There it will be completed at Cantiere delle Marche, where it will become a luxury yacht ready for international cruising in around 18 months.
The unit measures 43.12 metres in length, 8.75 in width and 12.65 in height. Hull construction and the main pre-fitting operations are part of a well-established industrial route between Trieste and Ancona, combining shipbuilding capabilities with specialised logistics for oversized loads.
The delivery follows the one in May 2025, when another hull from the same maxi-yacht family was launched. In that case too, Seadock managed production space, launching and transport, confirming Trieste’s role as an industrial platform for large-yacht construction.
According to CEO Piero Bessi, while this third hull heads for Ancona, construction of a fourth unit has already started in parallel, with the aim of further increasing production capacity dedicated to steel hulls for large yachts.
