TRIESTE – FHP Group has completed the integration between Lotras and CFI Intermodal and has set up FHP Intermodal, the company that from 1 January 2026 will run four intermodal terminals dedicated to rail–road transfers. The operating perimeter includes Incoronata in Apulia, Piedimonte San Germano in Lazio, Villa Selva and Fiorenzuola d’Arda in Emilia-Romagna.

The new entity, 100% owned by FHP Group and led by CEO Angelo Accomando, stems from the integration process promoted by the group headed by CEO Paolo Cornetto. Overall, FHP Intermodal has more than 500,000 square metres of operating areas, over 17 kilometres of tracks with direct access to the national rail network, and more than 30,000 square metres of covered warehouses, as well as a fleet of vehicles for transport and handling.

The offer covers integrated national and international logistics solutions, ranging from turnkey intermodal transport—both door to door and terminal to terminal—to conventional transport of liquid food-grade bulk cargoes, as well as the management of railway wagon fleets.
A specific role is played by the two Emilia-Romagna terminals in Villa Selva and Fiorenzuola d’Arda, which are also a relevant piece for North Adriatic port traffic. The platforms support rail connections serving the Port of Marghera and the port of Chioggia, strengthening integration between the Veneto port system and the Emilia-Romagna inland ports.

FHP Intermodal’s Board of Directors is made up of Umberto Masucci, Chairman, Armando De Girolamo, Vice Chairman, Angelo Accomando, CEO, Paolo Cornetto and Marco Mantoan, Board members.
FHP Group, a company of F2i SGR—the largest independent Italian manager of infrastructure funds—is Italy’s leading port–rail operator in the bulk sector. Active in the Upper Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian in six ports through nine managed terminals and four intermodal sites located across the peninsula, it handles—supported by over 1,000 people—10 million tonnes of goods per year and runs more than 6 million km by rail in Europe with a fleet of 50 locomotives and over 1,000 railway wagons.
FHP is an integrated network of services in bulk logistics, miscellaneous goods, general and project cargo, and operates its own terminals in Carrara, Livorno, Savona, Monfalcone, Marghera and Chioggia.
