TRIESTE – A new strategic partnership has been signed in recent days by Adria Port, the Hungarian company preparing to build the new multipurpose terminal in the southern section of the port of Trieste.
The agreement with Hungary’s Airmax Cargo, Adria Port explains, aims to ensure more consistent and transparent functioning along the entire supply chain, to develop solutions that can quickly adapt to traffic changes, and to strengthen market-presence coordination.
Founded in 1996, Airmax Cargo now relies on a team of over 140 people providing a wide range of multimodal transport services. It is the only Hungarian company included in the IATA (International Air Transport Association) Top 10 and is a market leader in the transport of cargo requiring special handling.
Meanwhile, work continues at full speed—funded with public investment—on the construction of the quay that will form the seaward section of the new terminal in the former Aquilinia refinery area (Muggia–Trieste).
