TRIESTE – Ministerial Decree No. 343 of 23 December 2025 has allocated €1.85 million in PNRR resources to the network of interports of national relevance, with contributions earmarked for digitalisation projects and interoperability of logistics systems.

Adopted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the measure distributed the funds on the basis of eligible applications and technical assessments. Among the beneficiaries is Interporto di Trieste, which receives a €155,500 contribution for initiatives linked to the development of IT systems and connectivity with the National Logistics Platform.

A significant share goes to Veneto, with three interports funded. Interporto di Padova is awarded €505,000, the highest amount among the beneficiaries. Interporto di Verona receives €120,000, while Interporto di Venezia gets €107,420.

The resources are intended for investments in process digitalisation, data interoperability and integration between interports, ports, rail terminals and logistics operators. The objective set out in the decree is to strengthen supply chain efficiency and support the development of intermodality, in line with the PNRR measures dedicated to the sector.
